Without a business card, you’ll be constantly writing your number or website down on a piece of paper to give to clients. This doesn’t look professional and little scraps of paper can easily be lost. If you go the extra mile and get business cards, you’re going to have a significant increase in both how people see you and also the number of people who see you.

You can put your business cards in places that are likely to be seen by people who are interested in your services. This increases the number of people who know about you and therefore your business will have greater exposure.

2) You will become more self-confident about your business.

Being professional and feeling good about your business go hand in hand. If you really are a professional, you’re going to feel self-confident about yourself. If you don’t even have a business card to offer people when you meet them, it’s going to be harder to feel confident that you are a professional.

Ideas For Creating Your Own Photo Business Card

As I have mentioned in previous posts, brainstorming is always the way to start. You want to get as many ideas as possible so that you have lots of different ways that you could go. If you just have 2 or 3 ideas, you won’t be getting the most out of your business card. You should just start sketching a bunch of designs for your business card. Keep going until you can’t think of anything else. Then tomorrow do the same thing again. Before you know it you’ll have quite a bit of design ideas and you’ll be able to choose the one that you like best.photography business cards templates

After you’ve done a lot of brainstorming, you’re ready to move to the next step of putting together your business card. You can use a variety of software. I used Adobe Photoshop and then exported it as a pdf. Then I just uploaded it to a printing company online and they printed out a few hundred business cards for me.
